Nethallu Iguru

 

 

Ingredients:
600 gm Nettallu (Anchovies)
10 gm garam masala
50 gm onion, 4 green chillies
2 sprigs curry leaves
15 gm ginger-garlic paste
8 gm chilli powder
5 gm dhania powder
3 gm turmeric, 10 gm tamarind
150 gm tomato
Cream of 1/2 coconut
Salt, to taste

 

 

Procedure:

Heat oil, add curry leaves, green chillies, onion and fry till brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute, add chilli powder, dhania powder, turmeric, coconut cream and chopped tomato and cook for few minutes. Add tamarind water and anchovies. Stir and cook till done, adjust seasoning and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
